Calcutta is capital of India before 1911 but after it was shifted back to Delhi. Delhi is the third largest capital city of India, which are a mixture of old and the modern culture. It is also the second largest metropolitan city in India as also the Eighth Largest Populated metropolis in world.

Delhi has a well-off historical background. Many dynasties had witnessed the glorious olden. It has seen rise and fall of many empires like Tomara-Chauhans, Khilji, Tughlaqs, Sayyids, Lodhis, Mughals and lastly British. Each ruler has left behind a plethora of excellent architectural wonder.

It is surprised to any one the most famous government buildings is designed by architect Edwin Lutyens like the President's House, the Parliament and the Supreme Court.

As we know Delhi is metropolitan city with satellite towns like Faridabad, Gurgaon and Noida combining with it to form NCR, called the National Capital Region. Delhi was developed so NCR is developing because they are very near to Delhi.
